Snowbirds, also called Snow Bunting

An unusually  a large flock

We don't often see them this late in the Spring.

Video: Snowbirds flying, swirling about, 
landing and off again.
The sound you hear is the wind.
In the middle of the video when they are flying 
against the blue sky

Seen in our yard, all alone.

Usually they are in groups, large or small.

 We see them in the fall and winter, on occasion.

Hopefully he will meet up with a flock!
